Oscars 2012: Blush Dresses, who wore them?

Blush dresses look divine on all skin tones, however it's easy to fall into the "washed-out" look if the right tone isn't chosen.

Kristin Wiig (image above) wore a gorgeous feminine gown by J. Mendel, Prada shoes, Neil Lane jewelry, and a Judith Leiber bag. She was nominated for the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, the Oscar went to "The Descendants."

Here are more ladies that wore blush-colored dresses to the 2012 Oscars.

Penelope Ann Miller wore a Badgley Mischka dress and Blue Nile jewelry. Penelope co-stared in the silent film, "The Artist," the film that won the Oscar for Best Picture.

Melissa McCarthy wore a  custom Marina Rinaldi dress,Brian Atwood heels, and Chopard jewelry.  Many critics thought she looked awful enough to be placed on a worst dressed list, but I happen to think she looked lovely.  The dress was flowy, elegant, and had beautiful detailing--especially around the waist.

Kate Mara (actress from "American Horror Story")wore a dress by Jack Guisso Couture, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and Brian Atwood heels.

Amara Miller wore a gorgeous, age-appropriate, Valentino Couture dress, Forever Mark jewelry and Jimmy Choo shoes. Amara Miller  stars in "Descendants," which was nominated for Best Picture, the Oscar went to "The Artist."

Wendy McLendon-Covey wore a lace and tulle CB Haute Couture Simon G jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes and clutch.Wendy starred in "Bridesmaids."
