Sarah Jessica Parker launches new fragrance: SJP NYC

Sarah Jessica Parker launches new fragrance SJP NYC

Sex and the City star, Sarah Jessica Parker has launched her new fragrance today.
The fragrance is called SJP NYC, which was originally just a code name for the fruity floral scent, but then stuck because of its perfect compliment to the Carrie Bradshaw character.
And what was the inspiration behind the fragrance? “A large part of the inspiration was what I now understand to be people’s impressions of seeing Carrie Bradshaw walk down the street…” Parker told WWD.   The ultimate goals was “…to create a party in a bottle.” I think that alone has sold me to at least go take a trial whiff.
SJP has been successful in previous fragrance trials with “Lovely”, which still remains on the top 50 list of women’s fragrances in the US (WWD), and Covet, which is currently  toning it down with distribution in the US.
The SJP NYC fragrance collection consists of eaux de toilette in three sizes — 15 ml. for $25, 30 ml. for $35 and 60 ml. for $49 — as well as a 200-ml. body lotion for $25. A cuff bracelet with solid perfume, tentatively priced at $35, will follow in May.
