Lela Luxe Fashion Week: Kenneth Cole Shoe Collection 2009

Here's one of my favorite all New York designer--Kenneth Cole. Proudly involved in awesome charities and foundations centered around AIDS. Voted Sexiest Businessman of the Year by People Magazine.

In August 2006, Kenneth Cole decided to stop selling fur in all of their garments for the Fall 2007 Fashion Season.

In the summer of 2007, Kenneth Cole also began their "Awearness" Campaign, which will produce a line of T-Shirts to benefit the charities that the company supports, and proceeds will go to the Awearness Fund^.

In 2008 the company is celebrated its 25th year, with tons of fab events planned to commemorating it's success.

More recently, Kenneth Cole delivered the keynote at Northwestern University keynote address at the Commencement ceremony May 1 2009. He was also honored on May 14 by The Legal Aid Society of New York City with its inaugural Theodore Roosevelt Corporate Award at the Waldorf Astoria during its Servant of Justice Award Dinner. Proceeds will go to benefit struggling New Yorkers who live in poverty.

Last year Kenneth Cole and his wife, Maria Cuomo purchased Bill Blass' former home for $14.5 million on Sutton Place in NYC.
